Why Lilies?

Lilies have quickly become one of my favorite cut flowers to grow. Why? They are highly programmable which means I can rely on them as a consistent focal throughout my entire growing season and beyond by bringing them indoors.

The problem? In order to succession plant lilies, bulbs must be sourced consistently from the supplier who pulls them out of the freezer. Lily bulbs cannot be stored for a long period which means that you cannot “hold” the bulbs for a later succession. Wholesalers typically sell lilies in 300-400 increments. Many of us don’t need these many bulbs and this limits the ability for the smaller scale grower to grow lilies beyond their normal bloom time in the spring.

Our goal is to provide you reasonable prices for smaller wholesale increments where you can still make a profit on lilies. You can perennialize these lilies or you can grow them in crates. Just know that if you perennialize them, they will all bloom at the same time during the following year.
